Rough Timber
Rough timber is timber that has not yet been planed or otherwise surfaced, meaning it retains a somewhat rough, textured surface with visible saw marks and imperfections — unlike planed timber which has a smooth, finished appearance.
MacCann & Byrne’s rough timber is available in red deal (pine) and white deal (spruce), as well as French Douglas fir and Western Red Cedar.
Furring pieces are also available.
Ideal construction timber — excellent for use as carcassing, rafters, floor joists.
All MacCann & Byrne’s timber is heat-treated and graded to C16 and C24 standard.
Available in lengths from 2.4m to 6m.
